Description

The Hydro Seal™ formulas represent research and service in protecting buildings since 1970. Hydro Seal300™ is a versatile, waterborne emulsion, water repellent and stain protector. Hydro Seal300™ offers fast and effective protection against U.V. damage and stains. Hydro Seal 300™ protects a wide variety of surfaces including masonry, stucco, brick pavers, concrete, aluminum, marble, fabric and asphalt roofs.

MASONRY: Helps prevent spalling and efflorescence by waterproofing masonry, brick, block and stone.

CONCRETE: Protects concrete by sealing and waterproofing the surface, preventing spalling and protecting against de-icing salts, mildew and stains.

FABRIC: Waterproofs, preventing moisture damage; extending the life of awnings, tarps and tents.

LIMITATIONS: Hydro Seal 300™ dries clear with some noticeable color enhancement to the surface. Test for color compatibility before applying. Caution: Both air and surface temperature for the application of Hydro Seal 300™ must be 45°F and rising. Protect all adjacent surfaces. When spraying near vegetation, cover to protect from overspray. Avoid spray drift onto pedestrians and vehicle traffic.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

A test area should be performed on all elevations prior to beginning overall project to determine precise procedures necessary for proper sealing and to ensure compatibility with the surface. User shall determine the suitability of the
product for its intended use and assume all risk and
liability whatsoever in connection therewith. Surface
should be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil, grease
and any previous water repellent coating. Remove all
loose mortar and repair all cracks over 1/16”. Masonry
repairs such as tuck-pointing should be made prior to
application and allowed to cure for 14 days.
APPLICATION:

APPLICATION:
1. Mix well before using.
2. Apply with a brush, staining pad, or low pressure airless sprayer. (45 P.S.I. is sufficient pressure to spray.)
3. Saturate well on horizontal surfaces, after 15 minutes remove excess Hydro Seal 300™ by redistributing to a dry
area. Always back brush if over saturation occurs.
4. Hydro Seal 300™ should be applied to saturation
with an average 12 inch rundown on vertical surfaces.
On porous surfaces, apply two wet on wet coats. On
dense or polished surfaces, apply a single, saturating
coat.
DRY TIME: Allow sufficient time for the first coat to
penetrate before applying a second coat.
CURE TIME: 24 hours.
CLEAN UP: Use soapy water.
